LORNE
I started my broadcast career at CHOM FM /CKGM AM in Montreal close to 14 years ago. Mainly production and promotions, but my real calling was on air, so one day somebody gave me my big shot doing overnights. The powers that be also let me fly in an airplane doing airborne traffic reports, and some commercial reads here and there. My next stop was in Dryden Ontario at CKDR AM a CHR station for about a year and a half doing afternoon drive. Feeling like I needed to see more of northern Ontario, I crossed most of the province landing in Kapuskasing Ontario at CKAP FM (The Moose) for a stint as a morning guy for about 13 months. Then it was on the road again to Parry Sound Ontario at CKLP FM (The Moose) for a 2 year stop over as their morning show host. Then Cornwall Ontario came calling, needing an afternoon guy for an AC station CFLG FM (Variety 104), about 6 months after landing in Cornwall, the deck was shuffled. I moved down the hall to our sister station CJSS FM (Rock 101.9). Feeling the need to get back home to "La Belle Province" I left Cornwall for the bright lights of Montreal, and home once again to concentrate on freelance voice work. Thanks for checking me out, and hope to hear from you soon.
